We trust that by God's providence (not by accident) you are visiting our Website. You are very welcome to Brisbane Bible-Presbyterian Church in Queensland, Australia!

By God's grace, love and goodness, we got to know, worship and serve the living and true God of the Holy Scriptures, the almighty Creator and heavenly loving Father, and His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We really thank God that Brisbane Bible-Presbyterian Church was established in Brisbane in 2006. We are a reformed church built on the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself alone and on God's perfectly inspired and perfectly preserved Word alone in traditional Hebrew and Greek Texts underlying the King James (Authorised) version, the Holy Scriptures. Our motto is from Philippians 2:11, "Jesus Christ Is Lord" and from John 17:17, "Thy (God's) Word Is Truth." That means we submissively look unto the Lord Jesus Christ and humbly seek to preach and exalt Himself alone, not ourselves or men (John 3:30; 2 Corinthians 4:5) and to study, preach, teach and magnify God's Word alone (2 Timothy 2:15; 4:2; Psalm 138:2), not human words, ideas or philosophies. By God's grace and strength, we fervently defend God's Truth and maintain a Christ-centred and Bible-centred Worship in these last days of compromise, confusion, unbelief, deception and apostasy.

Our purpose is not to draw you to ourselves or to a denomination but to the Lord Jesus Christ Himself alone, who truly loved you, died for your sins, rose again for your justification and is able to save you perfectly when you sincerely repent and receive Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of your heart and life (Romans 4:25; 8: 32-39; Hebrews 7:25).

We do pray that you may be saved, comforted, edified, born again, and sanctified by the Saviour Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit and by God's Word, and then be constrained by Christ's love to worship Him, live for Him, and serve Him according to His Word, His will and His way revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

ABOUT REV HIEN NGUYEN

• By God’s grace and mercy, Hien was born into a Christian family and was baptised in 1974 in Saigon, South Vietnam.
• By God’s sovereignty and providence, Hien met Rev Dr Timothy Tow, the founding Principal of the Far Eastern Bible College (FEBC) in Singapore and a disciple of Dr John Sung. Hien enjoyed a sound theological teaching and training at FEBC for his M.Div. and Th.M (2000 – 2004), was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by the FEBC Faculty in 2007, and got his DRE in 2023.
• Hien is married to Trang, and they have two children, Hanh and Timothy. By God’s grace and strength they are serving the Lord at Brisbane BPC and Vietnamese BPC.
• As all is by God’s grace alone,  the Lord Himself must increase, but Hien must decrease (John 3:30).
